Prayer Groups

We hold weekly House/Cell Groups and this is an opportunity meet with church members in your local area and to get to know each other and develop friendship. Here are some comments about our house groups.

"A good opportunity to get to know people and study the Bible together. To share and grow in our faith, prayer and laugh together" - Wendy.

"Friends gather together in fellowship of each other. Supporting each other. Held together by God! - Angela.

"A place where we feel free to share our thoughts and ideas. Where we are encouraged and our faith nutured. A place where friendships are growing stronger week by week" - Bev D.

If you are not in a House group or you would like to visit one, please ask Wendy or Pastor Gus for the details of the closest House group to where you live.

"I came to the church knowing one or two people. I was at the time feeling quite unwell. I felt vulnerable and nervous of moving churches despite my conviction that was where I was to go. I was invited to join a house group immediately and that helped me to slide into the church gently. the group was extremely welcoming and fully accepted me for who I was and where I was at the time. This made attending church easier once I felt well enough to do so regularly. Everyone showed the love of God to me and are still making me feel welcome" - Donna.

The Causeway Cell Group

We are currently around 9 regular members.  We meet every Tuesday from 7 pm until 8:15pm at The Causeway which is 2 minutes away from our church. You can expect a warm welcome, a cup of tea, coffee water or juice and some cake and fruits.

Most importantly, you can expect some worship singing and some laughter before we get down to some serious bible discussion.

For socials, we tend to stay in to watch a film by candle light with popcorn and more nibbles and wine. This is usually followed by a lively discussion afterwards. At Christmas, we had a party with lots food music and dancing to " Mary's Boy Child Jesus Christ" by Boney M... this cell group is worth checking out!

Pastor Gus is our cell leader.

Feel free to join us, we look forward to meeting with you.

Senior Cell Group

We meet every Wednesday 1.00pm -2.30pm. We call ourselves The Evergreens mainly because most of us are retired, although this does not exclude other age groups. We are vibrant, friendly and caring. Our group enjoys singing old and new hymns. We pray for our church, our families and our community followed with discussions, which are mainly bible based.
